The Frame and Suspension
Crafted in house from 100% Sustainable Forest Counsel certified, kiln dried hardwood with components corner blocked, glued, and bolted for maximum strength allowing for a lifetime warranty. The finest quality European webbing is strung and securely fastened to the frame. Premium suspension like this creates even distribution of load and weight ensuring years of comfort.
Upholstery...from the in side out
The completed frame is then wrapped entirely in a minimum of a 1/2" of foam, up to 3" where needed, then sheathed entirely in a dacron wrap creating a soft to the touch, even surface over the entire piece.
European Sack Upholstery
This allows for fewer seams interrupting the flow of the cover and design. The cover is completely sewn, then pulled down over the frame and only attached at the bottom. Because the frame is completely encased in foam with a dacron wrap, nowhere does the fabric touch the raw wood frame. All of this combines to create a precision fit eliminating tack strips.
Garment Quality Tailoring
All seams are stitched with color coordinated thread in a four step process where each edge is individually serged, then seamed together, and then top stitched. Because of this process each seam has tremendous strength. The top stitching reinforces the seam and creates a smooth flat detail allowing for crisp tailoring.
